We want to reassure you that the team at Thomas Watson will be following the Government’s health and safety guidelines thoroughly and ultimately will always ensure that the safety and wellbeing of our clients, our staff, and our community comes first.
It has been announced that restrictions around property viewings and transactions have been lifted. However, COVID-19 has not gone away, so we will be carrying out our business in an extremely safe and highly-managed way to ensure our clients and staff are protected at all times.
Entry into our office by members of the public, contractors, and surveyors will need to be by a pre-arranged appointment and the 2m distancing guidelines will need to be observed.
Buyers will need to be in a position to proceed I.e. only those who have sold their property (SSTC or Completed), have the cash to proceed without selling, are first time buyers or are living in rented accommodation will be permitted to view. For our clients selling, this is our recommendation only, as we feel it will reduce any unnecessary exposure however, if you do want to continue to let non proceedable people view we will act upon your instructions.
We will be adhering to the Social distancing guidelines and 2 metres must be observed at all times. Our staff may remain outside of the property whilst the viewing takes place. Our team members will wear a mask while conducting viewings. It is advised that viewers also wear their own PPE.
Vendors will be asked to leave lights on and doors open so that viewers to the property do not need to touch them. Viewers are asked not to touch surfaces unnecessarily. The Social distancing guidelines and 2 metres must be observed at all times.
